The First Step To Cure Is Believe!

Promises of 100% rehabilitation from drugs and alcohol within surprisingly brief span of time are never realistic. The drug treatments offered by facilities that are experimental, non-licensed, controversial, and may offer inadequate professional support can be safely termed as drug recovery scams. Such treatments not only further ruin any prospects of recovery that an addict might have but cause also distrust on organizations that are working for the benefit of recovering addicts.

According to present day definitions a drug recovery program is equated to a scam, when its authenticity is not verified, is in adequate, and does not provide patient specific treatment. Most of these programs are marketed using paid actors, who corroborate exaggerated statistics and claims. Offering guarantees and cures via short term treatments are also a part of these rehabilitation scams.  These are tactics used to lure addicts.  Many drug rehab plans offer deter treatment or treatment using prescribed medication. Rather than being an entire treatment on its own both the methods suggested mere components of a drug rehab program.

A lot of drug recovery scams focus on a holistic approach; treatment via natural herbs.  Holistic approach may have worked in certain cases but this form of treatment is not validated and is unverified. There are many drug treatment plans available, which are modular and cyclical in nature.  Such programs are redundant. As it is a widely held opinion that for drug programs to be effective, treatment plans need to be ever evolving, must change according to the change in situation of the addict, and must cater to the specific requirements of the patient. Many drug recovery programs incorporate farce statics to corroborate their claims and to lure in more patients.

Amongst the few drug recovery programs which are recognized at an official and institutional level is a somewhat a controversial name; Narconon Fresh Start! Narconon is appreciated because of its unique philosophy behind the treatment program.

Narconon Fresh Start treatment plan was devised by the founder of Narconon, a junkie himself! After several tries, research and self experimentation, William Benetiz the founder, was able to break through. He devised a flexible drug free holistic treatment plan.  With a multiple phase battle plan which incorporates cognitive behavioral therapy and mental therapy, physical therapy, and social interaction schemes.  Narconon Fresh Start not only helps to cure the patient over a period of time but also focuses on helping them ease back into society. Narconon helps their patient both physically and physiologically. This unique effective treatment plan has resulted in Narconon being called the fresh start which means a drug rehab program that allows the patient to have another go at life.

Drug recovery requires, patience will and a supporting environment. Friends and family, along with the patient, need to grasp the idea of an arduously long journey, which will be both mentally and physically draining. The first step to cure is the acceptance of the problem. The next step is to believe that a cure always exists!
